Pay with Card, HesabPay or WhatsApp: Which Option Fits You
The Yar team · · 2 min read

Afghans abroad do not all pay the same way. Some are used to tapping a bank card, some have relatives in Afghanistan who handle payments with a mobile wallet, and some simply prefer to talk to a person before sending money. Yar offers three payment options so that each family can use what feels most comfortable. Here is a plain overview to help you choose.
Paying by card
You can pay with a Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card at checkout. This suits most senders in Europe, North America, the UK and Australia, because the order is paid in one step and confirmed straight away. Your bank may show the payment in its own currency on your statement; any conversion is handled by your card provider.
Paying with HesabPay
HesabPay is an Afghan mobile wallet. It is handy when the payment is made by someone with a HesabPay account, for example a brother in Kabul who is ordering a cake for his mother on your behalf, or a sender who already keeps a balance there. Choose HesabPay at checkout and follow the steps shown.
Paying through WhatsApp or transfer
If you prefer to arrange payment by talking to someone, you can choose WhatsApp or transfer. This option is useful for larger family orders or when you have a question before paying. WhatsApp support is available from 8 AM to 10 PM Kabul time.
- Card: quickest for most people living abroad.
- HesabPay: convenient for those who already use the Afghan wallet.
- WhatsApp or transfer: good when you want to speak to someone first.
Prices, currencies and refunds
Prices are shown in US dollars or euros, and the delivery fee is shown separately so you can see exactly what you are paying for before you confirm. If Yar cannot deliver your order, you receive a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. If the recipient cannot be reached after two attempts, Yar calls you first, before any refund is made.
Whatever method you choose, keep your order details handy. They let you follow the delivery on the tracking page and help support find your order quickly if you need anything.
Still unsure which option suits you? The help page and the FAQ explain each step, or you can head straight to the shop and choose at checkout.
