How to Order From Dewa Biryani for Your Family Through Yar

Dewa Biryani is not yet a shop on the Yar website, but you can still order from it for your family through Yar. The team handles it by WhatsApp. Here is exactly how it works, from your first message to the food arriving.

Step 1: Message Yar on WhatsApp

Open the help page and tap the WhatsApp button. Write that you would like to order from Dewa Biryani (دیوه بریانی) and include:

What you would like, or simply "biryani for 6 people" if you are not sure what is on offer
The delivery day and the time the family will eat
The recipient's name and Afghan phone number
The district and address, with a landmark if the street is hard to find
A short message for the family, if you want one

Step 2: We confirm the price and the details

The team checks with the restaurant what is available and what it costs, then sends you a total in US dollars or euros. The total includes the food, Yar's service and delivery, so there is nothing extra to pay at the door. If something you asked for is not available, we tell you and suggest an alternative.

Step 3: Pay

Once you agree, you pay by Visa or Mastercard, with AfPay or with HesabPay through HesabPay's secure page, or by bank transfer or hawala arranged on WhatsApp. Nothing is ordered from the restaurant until the payment is confirmed.

Step 4: Collection and delivery

On the day, a Yar courier collects the order and takes it to the address you gave. The courier calls the recipient before arriving so someone is there to receive it. If the recipient cannot be reached, we contact you before doing anything else.

Good to know

Order at least a few hours ahead, and a day ahead for larger orders or busy days such as Thursdays, Fridays and Eid
Hot food has to be eaten soon after it arrives, so give the time the family actually wants to eat
If we cannot deliver, you get a full refund to the way you paid
