How to Track Your Gift Order to Afghanistan, Step by Step

Once you have paid for a gift to family in Afghanistan, the next question is always the same: where is it now? Yar makes tracking simple. You do not need an account or a password, only your order code. This guide walks you through it step by step.

Step 1: Find your order code

After you place an order, you receive an order code. Keep it somewhere easy to find, for example in your email or notes. It is the key to checking your order and the first thing support will ask for if you contact them.

Step 2: Open the tracking page

Go to the tracking page and enter your order code. You do not need to log in. This also means you can share the code with a family member, for example a sibling who helped pay, so they can follow the order too.

Step 3: Understand where your order is

The tracking page shows the current status of your order as it moves from payment to preparation, then to the courier and finally to the door. A few things are useful to know about timing:

In Kabul, orders placed before 2 PM Kabul time can arrive the same day before 6 PM. Later orders arrive the next day.
For other provinces, delivery takes a few days depending on distance.
Kabul time is ahead of Europe and North America, so check the time there before you expect news.

Step 4: The handover and the photo

Before arriving, the courier calls the recipient. At the door, the courier hands over the order and takes a photo of the handover, and the recipient confirms on the courier's phone. Within minutes, you receive the photo by WhatsApp and email. The photo also stays on your order page, so you can look at it again later or show it to others in the family.

If you chose the surprise option, the courier's call only checks that the recipient is home, without saying what is coming or who sent it.

Step 5: If something seems wrong

If the status has not changed for longer than you expected, contact support on WhatsApp between 8 AM and 10 PM Kabul time with your order code.
If the recipient cannot be reached after two attempts, Yar will call you first to decide what to do.
If Yar cannot deliver, you get a full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days.
