Biryani or Degh-e Charga: What to Send Your Family for Eid
The Yar team · · 1 min read

Eid is the time of year when distance hurts most. The house fills with relatives, the tea never stops and everyone asks when you are coming home. Sending food for the Eid table is one of the warmest ways to be part of it.
Choose by the size of the gathering
- A smaller family meal, or a visit from a few relatives: a biryani order, for example from a place they love such as Dewa Biryani, is easy to share and feels like a treat
- A full house, several families or food for neighbours too: a degh-e charga is made for exactly this and feeds many people at once
- Not sure? Ask the family how many guests they expect; the number usually decides it
Order early for Eid
Kitchens across the country are busy in the days before Eid, and the first day of Eid itself depends on the moon. Message Yar a few days ahead, tell us the day you want, and we will confirm what is possible before you pay. Last-minute orders around Eid are harder to promise.
Complete the Eid table
Eid is also about sweets, dry fruit and tea for guests. You can add dry fruit and sweets or something from the Ramadan & Eid collection to the same delivery.
How to order
Biryani from Dewa Biryani and degh-e charga are arranged by message, as they are not yet ready-made products on the website. Message the team on WhatsApp from the help page, or read the guides to sending a degh-e charga and ordering from Dewa Biryani.
